About CoboCards

CoboCards is a project of Jamil Soufan and Tamim Swaid. Tamim Swaid has developed the concept and interface of a collaboratively used elearning platform in his diploma thesis at the University of Applied Sciences in February 2007. This platform enables users to create any content on flashcards in cooperation with friends. Jamil Soufan was responsible for programming the platform. After the presentation of the diploma thesis at the university, the team was encouraged by the audience to continue with the project and to develop a merchantable product. Later Ali Yildirim joined up with the team and is responsible for all administration related topics.
In January 2010 they founded the CoboCards GmbH (limited company).

CoboCards is supported by its strategic partners Prof. Schroeder (RWTH Aachen University), Prof. Oliver Wrede (University for Applied Sciences Aachen) and Prof. Klaus Gasteier (University of Arts Berlin).
