Probably you already heard the news from our Twitterchannel or our Facebookpage. On Monday we won the first place in the Businessplan competition start2grow in Dortmund and we are really really proud 🙂 It’s like somebody is saying: „Guys, you are on the right track.“

As we’ve posted earlier, we already were one of the Top 10 teams in the first round. In the second round all 68 teams were able to revise their businessplan and send it in again. Out of those 68 teams 20 were chosen to present their idea and strategy in front of a jury. We had five minutes for the presentation and five minutes for question from the jury. We did both quite good.

After the presentation we had the possibility to speak with the other teams. Some of them had really good ideas but we were convinced to be under the Top 10, cause our revised businessplan had got some really good comments from our advisers.

The award show started 5 hours after our presentation. We were not mentioned in the places 10 – 4. While we got more and more excited with every place we started to hope for the third place. But „Ouch… no third place“. So „Could it really be that we won the second place… eeek… sorry… no second place…“ So we said to ourselves: „Ok, man we lost it. We hoped to make it to the top ten but unfortunately we didn’t. But that’s not a big deal because our goal is to build CoboCards and not to win buisnessplan competitions. But then… have a look.

So we really would like to thank the start2grow jury for choosing us and the team for organizing this excellent event. And we also would like to congratulate the other winners. We are going to reinvest our price in CoboCards so that even you will benefit from this competition.
