today CoboCards got a certification for secure payments on CoboCards.com.

The certification is called PCI-DSS and means Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. It ensures that payments with Visa or Mastercard are secure. Once a year this certification has to be renewed so Acertigo (the instution doing the assessment) knows that we fulfil security requirements.

Some of the points to get the certification is for example: No hacker attacks to our payment process or no saving of customer credit card data.

We always try to make CoboCards more secure than it is. This certification is a proof for it.
