While introducing the Pro version of CoboCards we had to think about something in order to distinguish Pro from the Basic version . We decided to limit the amount of sets to 5 and allow only 1 private set. Those who had more than 5 sets had to delete or export their flashcards before using CoboCards-Basic.

By doing so, we forced our users to delete their hard work or publish. This will change now. Pro still has to distinguish itself from the free version, but we don’t want to force anyone to delete something or publish.

Therefore Basic will be replaced by CoboCards-Free on Monday.

What is CoboCards-Free?

• still free of charge
• 3 flashcard sets
• no need for publications
• possibility to export
• no archive

Those who downgrade will be able to archive but only re-activate sets after being Pro again.

We think it is an improvement to what our users had before. It is their content and should be able to access it wherever they want, either in CoboCards or locally on their computers.
