Friday evening we received an e-mail telling us that the iPhone App would not display flashcards as it should be. Instead of that the user saw a flashcards with „null“ in Question and Answer.

The reason is an error in the code regarding the card-id. In the meantime we have so many flashcards sets in the database that we have to use 10 digits as card-ids. Unfortunately the iPhone App can not handle this.

This problem occurs only with new flashcard sets (having a 10-digit card-id). Older flashcards sets can be displayed without any problems.

The solution is a small update we are currently working on. Unfortunately it will take a while since the approval process of Apple always needs a while too. We want to apologise for all inconvenience.

Until we have an app fulfilling our quality criteria we will remove the app from the App Store.
