What are the procedures for outboard engine high water temperature?
- Reduce RPM to clutch ahead on both engines
- Identify affected engine
- Notify crew of casualty
- Verify current position, and evaluate situation
- Check overboard discharge
- Secure engine, if temperature continues to rise
- Crew member check outboard engine to assess the situation
- Crew member rig the anchor, as directed by the coxswain
- Check outboard cooling water intake ports
- Notify unit/Operational Commander
