Chemische Anforderungen
Einige chemische Bestandteile der Gesteinskörnungen haben schädliche Auswirkungen auf den damit hergestellten Beton oder Mörtel. Welche der chemischen Anforderungen zu prüfen sind, hängt von der vorgesehenen Art der Verwendung und der Herkunft der Gesteinskörnung ab
DIN EN 12620 und DIN EN 13139 legen daher für Bestandteile, die das Erstarren und das Erhärten des Betons oder Mörtels stören, dessen Festigkeit oder Dichtigkeit herabsetzen, zu Quellen und Absprengungen, Fleckenbildung und Entfärbung führen oder den Korrosionsschutz der Bewehrung beeinträchtigen, Prüfungen fest, um die chemischen Eigenschaften zu bestimmen, oder auch Grenzwerte.
DIN EN 1744-1:
Chloridgehalt
> wenn<=0,01% für Berechnung des Chloridgehlts von Beton verwendbar
Sulfatgehalt
>Höchstwert: 0,8Masse-%; Ausnahme: Hochofenschlacke >1M%
Schwefelgehalt
>Höchstwerte: 2M% bei Hochofenschlacke, 1M% für alle anderen Gesteinskörnungen
Leichtgewichtige organische Verunreinigungen
> z. B. Holz oder Kohle, die im frischen Beton und Mörtel aufschwimmen und so dessen Oberfläche negativ beeinflussen können
>Der Anteil wird gemäß DIN EN 1744 1, Abschnitt 14.2 im Aufschwimmversuch mit gesättigter Zinkchloridlösungbzw. Natriumwolframatlösungermittelt. Damit werden jedoch alle Partikel, die eine Rohdichte < 2.000 kg/m³ aufweisen, erfasst, also auch Stoffe anorganischen Ursprungs.
>Im Zweifel: Glühen der aufgeschwommenen Bestandteile bei 700°-->Rückstand ist anorganisch
