Five Nights at Freddy's 2   FNAF 2    escalates the tension of Scott Cawthon's horror franchise by stripping away defensive security doors and introducing eleven aggressive animatronics across a sprawling vintage pizzeria. Players step into the role of night guard Jeremy Fitzgerald at the reimagined Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, balancing a flashlight battery, a manual music box, and a hollow Freddy Fazbear mask to survive from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM.

The single most critical mechanic in the game. Winding the music box keeps the Puppet (Marionette) dormant. If the music box winds down completely, survival is virtually impossible

Unlike the original game's reliance on power doors, FNAF 2 forces players to manage their perimeter dynamically through three primary defensive tools:

Your primary shield against visual detection. Slipping the mask on tricks most animatronics into believing you are an endoskeleton inside an empty costume. Reaction time must be instantaneous—delays exceeding a fraction of a second when an animatronic enters the office will result in a lethal jumpscare

Your handheld flashlight illuminates the long central hallway and checks the dual ventilation ducts on either side of the desk. Hallway sweeps deter specific roaming threats, while vent lights reveal intruders poised to enter. Conserve battery life by flashing in quick bursts rather than holding down the beam
