Was sind Passate?

Passate sind Winde aus der Subtropischen Zone (bis 23.5° N und S). Sie sind meistens sehr trocken und haben eine beständige Richtung von Osten.
Sie werden deshalb Nordost- und Südostpassat genannt. Sie fliessen beim ITC zusammen.
