The AP English Language and Composition exam focuses on rhetorical analysis, so most of the texts that you'll use are nonfiction. The test will require you to understand the individual elements that make up a larger essay. When you buy an essay paper for the AP English Literature and Composition exam, you'll examine dramas, poetry, and prose. Think of it this way: in the AP English Language and Composition exam, you'll look at someone's written analysis of a poem. In the AP English Literature and Composition exam, you'll examine the poem itself.
When you take the AP English Literature and Composition exam, you'll be expected to read and remember multiple works of literature. On the AP English Language and Composition exam, you'll focus more on process.
The AP English Literature and Composition exam will look at imagery, symbolism, etc. to uncover the writer's underlying theme and intent in writing the piece. The AP English Language and Composition exam will look at syntax and diction to identify how a point is successfully (or unsuccessfully) made.
